We are currently searching for a Technical Support Engineer Job Description Main responsibility is case handling, administration and resolution by direct troubleshooting work or knowledge re-use, working close with customer, R&D, Care and CO Cluster Organizations, managing case follow-up, and customer communication through the case lifecycle. Provide accurate solutions/workarounds for cases, based on in depth analysis, in agreed timeframe with high quality to ensure first time right. Shares knowledge in own professional area and towards organization by delivering input to the common knowledge database. Support areas (local/regional support centers) when receiving the EME cases.

Procuramos
Know-how of Telecommunication protocols and systems
Knowledge on optical transport and Next Generation Metro Technologies/products
Strong understanding of Transmission Technologies (ATM, SDH, PDH, OTN, DWDM, Ethernet L2, IP, MPLS)
Understanding of routing and signaling protocols, control plane technologies (i.e ASON, GMPLS)
Telecom Standards such as E1/T1, ITU & 3GPP protocol specifications
Basic operation and configuration skill on Cisco will be a plus
Experience with optical test equipment’s, i.e. Traffic Generator, Power Meter, OTR, optical attenuators, OSA
DCN System Knowledge will be a plus
English Spoken
Availability to travel, short assignments at customers locations
