BACKGROUND
Critical has a large experience in developing avionics software for leading aircraft manufacturers. The strong relationship with those customers is now expanding to new areas of business.
The success of the company has been based on innovation in mission and business critical systems, and an uncompromising approach to quality. The company has a strong record of developing its staff, and staff turnover is very low.
The required Operations Engineers will be collocated with Prime Contractor's personnel and form an integrated team undertaking the Prime Spacecraft Operations engineering activities.

MAIN DUTIES
The candidates will be responsible for:
• Generation of SSUM sections of the SSUM volumes;
• Support to spacecraft testing;
• Provision of input data needed for build of flight software versions;
• Participation in equipment and subsystem reviews;
• Participation in spacecraft reviews;
• Provision of inputs to the satellite data base;
• Review of the ESOC Flight Operations Plans;
• Maintenance of operations budgets.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & DEVELOPMENT
• Must have experience in spacecraft systems engineering (at least one of: onboard software, thermal control, electrical engineering, attitude & orbit control);
• Must have experience in spacecraft development;
• Must have knowledge/experience in spacecraft operations;
• Must have knowledge/experience in spacecraft and/or onboard software validation;
• Must have very good skills on ECSS development processes;
• Must have excellent documentation skills and mastery of the English language. Knowledge in German is considered an asset;
• Must have good communication and social skills for interaction with the customer.
