Reporting to the Department Manager your responsibilities will include:

- To agree systems and approach to work allocation across the team to ensure most appropriate use of resource, expertise, strengths and workload;
- To manage the performance of the team by specifying clear expectations of turnaround time and quality of review. Encourage and develop holistic thinking in design reviews so that all aspects of Operational activity (including but not limited to H&S and customer service) are considered and that reviews are not simply from a stand-alone engineering perspective;
- To lead and encourage the most appropriate way of ensuring that all relevant professional disciplines and levels are suitably engaged in the final design;
- To represent Drainage O&M at regular Infrastructure Affairs monthly progress meetings and encourage and maintain a partnership approach to final design of Ashghal Drainage Assets;
- To review the more complex and critical network design projects provided by Infrastructure affairs to ensure Drainage O&M requirements are met;
- Review the more complex technical specifications in procurement documentation for contracts let by Drainage O&M directly;
- To lead by example and carry out the reviews according to the standards and expectations of all Drainage O&M Design Engineers.
O que procuramos
As a successful candidate you will have:

- Degree in relevant subject
- Minimum of 15 years Wastewater Operations and Networks experience, with at least 5 years people management experience;
- 5 years Wastewater engineering design review experience.
