As Strategic HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the newly appointed CEO of the Online Division as a trusted HR advisor, helping to influence and shape the people strategy for the division. Your role will be fully generalist with some specific areas of action as follows:
o Ensure the HR function provides commercial, pragmatic, value-add solutions to the business by promoting and instilling a culture of continuous improvement and change.
o Champion a relentless focus on realizing the potential of people. Be the custodian of talent management & succession planning, with the aim of developing the talent and calibre of people continuously to ensure a pipeline of talent
o Form robust relationships with senior management, and gain their respect in order to influence decision making and gain confidence to handle complex operational issues
o Drive employee engagement at all levels to encourage individual creativity & encourage increased levels of employee retention
O que procuramos
The successful individual will be a senior HR generalist and most likely from an organisation with online/multi-channel routes to market. They will have some international experience and do not necessarily need to be a UK national. They must, however, possess strong English language skills.
Other specific behavioural attributes that this individual will possess are likely to include:

o The intellectual capability and operational rigour to gain immediate credibility with the Online leadership team, and throughout the organisation
o A passion for technology and its ability to help drive and transform the business
o Able to influence at the highest levels through clear, informed and logical argument and discussion tempered by a sense of humour
o Far-reaching vision, strong leadership skills and an outstanding commitment to success
o Robust and determined with a hands-on commercial approach to developing the business needs. Individuals must be resilient and be capable of coping with the relentless and continuous challenges of the role
