VOLUNTARIADO INTERNACIONAL – Finlândia (2971) – Projeto de organização de um Evento Intercultural

Local: Finlândia

Horário: 5 dias por semana, 5 horas por dia. Férias: 2 dias por cada mês de duração de projeto

Condições: Alojamento, Alimentação, Viagens, vistos, vacinas, Seguro, formação linguística, Acompanhamento pessoal, ciclo de formação e avaliação, férias (2 dias por cada mês), transporte local, subsídio mensal (120,00€).

10 volunteers, 2 volunteers from each organisation
The purpose of the voluntary period is to learn intercultual and intergenerational co‐operation, civic activism and volunteering in “a multi professional” group which means volunteering with people with different skills and background. Also encouraging volunteers to the creative work with their own interest is one of the main targets.

Volunteers will be encouraged to use their own special skills (eg. stage construction, sewing, renovating, planning intercultural evening, media, gardening..). The voluntary period has been planned only for the volunteers without international experiences or only less international experiences. The project is very practical and all the volunteers willlearn by doing.

The voluntary period consist of the following tasks:
The voluntary work is divided in two parts in the village. The first part is to assist local volunteers in Nysä to do stage construction for the theatre group. The work also includes scenic design and construction and costume design for the theatre play. During the second week, the voluntary work is renovating and painting work in an old school in the village and also some gardening tasks outside.

The volunteers will also organise an intercultural evening together with the local volunteers. Volunteers work with Finnish local volunteers who are mainly elderly people.

Perfil:

- 18‐30 years old
- open‐minded and flexible
- interested in Finnish culture
- not having or having less international experiences
- adaptable to live on the countryside
- motivation to learn and do voluntary work!
- has probably some of the specific skills listed in the tasks
- social skills

Tarefas:

- stage construction
- scenic design and construction (inc. planning, painting, decorating etc.)
- costume design, sewing, putting costumes in order in the storage
- renovating
- gardening
- planning and making an intercultural evening
- food management
- media work (for one or two volunteers): shooting videos, taking photos, creating and updating blog,
marketing
