Our Partner is a promising technology-based company dedicated to Web and Mobile environments, developing high performance and scalable products. Based in Portugal and working with large European and American companies, is experiencing an accelerated growth. For direct integration in their team, we are currently searching for a Front-end Developer (m/f). Reporting to Engineering Manager, you will stay up to speed with all front end web technology development and be the internal expert on this.

Procuramos

Master degree in Information Technology areas;
Minimum of 3 years’ experience focused on front-end development;
Excellent proficiency and ability to hand-code XHTML, CSS, Javascript and HTML;
Solid experience of using client-side JavaScript frameworks, ideally YUI3 but will consider alternatives such as jQuery;
Experience with server-side templating frameworks such as FreeMarker;
Knowledge of JavaScript unit testing suites, ideally Jasmine
Experience with using advanced HTML5 features
Have a strong portfolio of websites or mashups using public AJAX APIs
Understanding of and experience with application architectures (service oriented, client/server, web, database);
Good understanding of application scalability issues;
Experience with using browser-based debugging tools
Understanding of the full development cycle and some experience of Agile development methodologies and supporting tools;
Experience with web and application servers;
Experience working with teams of designers and developers;
Excellent teamwork and communication skills;
Creative approach to finding technology solutions for user problems.
