Based in Portugal and working with multinational companies, is experiencing an accelerated growth. For direct integration in their team, we are currently searching for a Database Security Specialist/Senior Analyst (m/f). This professional will be part of the Threat Management Team, and will be responsible for the strategy, delivery and operational monitoring of all database security monitoring activities. The major responsibilities about this profile are:
Perform database vulnerability assessments;
Ensure auditability in the databases;
Provide secure database baselines;
Work with business and Security to deliver business goals ensuring security standards are maintained;
Provide security engineering design, implementation and test support;
Determine, analyse and decompose security requirements at the level of detail that can be implemented and tested;
Review and monitor security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures;
Assist with audit activities that support the business objectives related to PCI/Security compliance;
Support the review, updating, and documenting architecture of data flow;
Monitor Security controls in the database domain;
Automation, alerting and correlation with regards to database security events and alerts;
Create, own and promote the security strategy for protecting databases and integrate it with the wide security strategy;
Ensure security knowledge is transferred to all DBA team members.

Procuramos

Degree in Information Technology areas;
Working experience in production DBA/Development in Oracle, SQL Server and/or MySQL;
Knowledge in scripting languages such as Perl, Bash, Ruby and Phython;
Experience in safe backup and recovery technologies and in data replication techniques;
Experience of SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX shell scripting;
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
