In order to reach the best performance within our Financial Shared Services Porto Team, the adidas Group is looking for a new team player!
adidas Group Financial Shared Services in Porto delivers high quality services for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Retail Accounting processes for adidas companies located in Europe. The Accounts Receivable (AR) and Retail (RTL) Manager is a key position in the center, assuming responsibility for the deliverance of AR and RTL services, customer satisfaction and issue resolution as well as general management of both teams.
Descrição da Função:
- Ensure teams’ management, including coaching, training, motivation, performance appraisal and guidance;
- Ensure good relationships with the Credit Management Teams, and Inventory Control and Profit protection Teams in Retail, on a proactive basis;
- Support the teams in the resolution of difficult questions;
- Develop and report on KPI’s, implementing and monitoring the appropriate quality controls, and ensure accurate and timely regular reporting;
- Ensure compliance with legal and tax requirements and European accounting standards, implementing common processes wherever possible;
- Support or conduct “Root Cause” analysis on errors or trouble points and implement appropriate action;
- Generate ideas for driving continuous improvement within the area of responsibility, within the common scope of Financial Shared Services to ensure high quality and efficient work;
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreement.
Perfil do Candidato:
- Fluency in English (spoken and written);
- Proven experience in use of SAP FI;
- Excellent understanding of and experience with VAT processing;
- Enthusiastic and results-driven;
- Self-motivated and a team player;
- Strong customer focus as the basis of our business;
- Management skills and effective communicator;
- International mindset.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar function (AR) for a multinational company;
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in supervising teams of 5 or more people in an international environment;
- Best knowledge of company rules, law and tax requirements and accounting standards.
