BACKGROUND
Critical Health, a young company dedicated to build a valuable global business of Health Information Technology Products, is looking for a Systems, Electrical or Biomedical Engineer with at least 4 years of professional experience with a focus on integrating wireless wearable sensors from multiple suppliers with our software platform.
The candidates are to be integrated in highly qualified and motivated team based in Coimbra. The candidate must be able to work independently, assume responsibility for its activities and be fluent in English language.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience specifying, designing, building and integrating systems that contain application software such as web-based platform, embedded software controllers and/or electrical components, such as wireless sensors. Experience defining and executing component / unit tests for both embedded controller components and software interfaces is also required.
Industrial design and/or specification experience is a strong plus. Desirable to have knowledge of biomedical engineering principles. Knowledge of wireless protocols and/or clinical / motion sensors is plus. Desirable to have knowledge in Java server and Postgres.
Experience managing suppliers is also a strong plus. Very strong inter personal skills, project management and/or contract creation experience is a plus.
Be capable of working with minimal supervision.
Desirable to have awareness of Software Development Process practices and Software Quality Management practices.
Must have excellent documentation skills and master of the English language.
