BACKGROUND
Critical Health, a young company dedicated to build a valuable global business of Health Information Technology Products, is looking for a Software Engineer with a focus on implementing web 2.0 user interfaces.
The candidates are to be integrated in highly qualified and motivated team based in Coimbra. The candidate must be able to work independently, assume responsibility for its activities and be fluent in English language.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience on Web Application Development using a modern Web 2.0 framework such as Adobe Flex, Flash, AJAX, Ruby on Rails or other Java script toolkits is a must.
Experience creating web-applications that work across multiple platforms and browser versions is a must. Desirable candidate will provide a link to authored websites that they have implemented.
Experience using PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, Soap, Web-Services & Javascript is required.
Desirable to have experience working of implementing a web-application as designed by a UI designer.
Desirable to have knowledge of Java server and Postgres. Also desirable to have experience creating automated user-interface driven tests.
Be capable of working with minimal supervision and good interpersonal skills.
Desirable to have awareness of Software Development Process practices and Software Quality Management practices.
Must have excellent documentation skills and master of the English language.
