Main Duties
The business developer will liaise with existing or prospective customers, maintaining the company?s market knowledge base, identifying, evaluating and managing opportunities.
The role covers the full opportunity lifecycle from identification and meeting new prospects to the account management of contracts, including opportunity generation and support to proposal writing.
Essential Skills and Experience
* The candidate must have extremely good communication skills and a solid sales track record together with experience in the civil markets listed.
* A sound knowledge of systems and/or software engineering, project phases and applicable standards is desirable.
* The candidate must have a degree in engineering or other applicable technical subject.
* Good planning skills and the ability to deal with complexity and a large number of concurrent activities are essential.
* Experience with marketing or product design is desirable.
