The Phone House (TPH) is looking for independent, enthusiastic and driven individuals to join its Shared Service Centre (SSC) team in Lisbon. TPH is making a substantial investment in its SSC operations in Portugal during 2009, involving the creation of new services operation.
Purpose of Roles:
The role is to deliver all regular reporting, weekly and monthly on time, and in an efficient manner. To drive continual improvements in all the end-to-end Reports processes, in which Shared Services are involved and to assist in the administration of some of the key financial software packages used by SSC, such as Accurate and Inca ( FSS analyst ).
Job Dimensions:
Supporting Performance Reporting Team in producing all regular reporting
Assisting in the administration of some of the key financial software packages used by SSC, such as Accurate and Inca.
Reports cover areas including Accounting, AP, Banking, Commissions, Contracts and CIM.
Monitor and Improve all metric and SLA Reporting.
Proactive issue investigation and resolution
No direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering 100% accurate reports on time every time.
Driving continual improvements in all end-to-end Report processes in which Shared Services are involved in terms of quality, consistency, cost, efficiency, control and compliance:
Understanding and producing all current reporting.
Provide administration cover for multiple systems support ( FSS analyst )
Implementing process and ways to improve current helpdesk for system support ( FSS analyst )
Continual analysis of each publication to identify opportunities for improvement.
Supporting Performance Reporting Team in production of new reports.
Assist in identifying the key metrics and SLAs to measure performance of all parties along the processes.
Ensuring these metrics can be measured efficiently.
Driving continual year on year improvements on all key Record to Report metrics.
Ensuring Service Level Agreements between all parties along each process are in place, and performance is being measured and reported.
Manage relationships with internal customers.
Ensuring all Reports procedures for each publication are fully documented and kept up-to-date.
Requirements:
At least a years office work experience, and good using most Microsoft packages Excel essential.
Business High School diploma, Proven high achiever, Advanced computer skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be keen to get involved in all aspects of the business, learn quickly, and demonstrate good business common sense.
Ability to work within strict deadlines & Good prioritising skills
Good level of English written and oral and Good level of numeracy
Independent, enthusiastic and driven individual, who wants to progress.
