Portuguese â Customer Sales & Service Agent (full-time)

Our client specialises in multi-brand credit card and consumers loans business that also processes payments for retailers and merchants and issues credit and charge cards to corporate customers.
About the job:
Job purpose:
Primary role will be to receive, deal with and answer all types of customer queries and request by phone including complex and contentious matters.
Main responsibilities:
âContact and deal with customers in situations where customers have potential to affect commercial interests of the business (i.e. bad debt, credit limits etc. within remit of the department)
âAdopt a flexible approach in order to support others and undertake other duties as required
âAdopt cases and generate correspondence following initial customer contact with another area
âProvide excellent customer service
âMaintain existing and where necessary establish good working relationships with external contacts such as Solicitors, Police, Debt Collection Agencies etc. in order to ensure maximisation of the overall business relationship
âAchieve daily targets and objectives as set out by Team Leader/Risk Operations Manager
Skills required:
âFluent in Portuguese and English
âGood telephone manners
âLetter writing
âGeneral keyboard and multi system usage
âInterpersonal sensitivity

âPresentation skills
âDecision-making
âA good understanding of the objectives and functions of the Customer Service area
âAn excellent knowledge of the procedures of Customer Service department
