Their software is distributed by partners such as IBM & Oracle on their servers and databases. They have a tremendous amount of in-bound interest in their solutions similar to that experienced by open source companies such as RedHat, mySQL and JBoss. They receive in excess of 50,000 downloads of their software each month and are going through a period of growth.
Role: The Company is growing rapidly and they are now starting their Spanish and Portuguese sales team from Dublin. They are interested in hiring an experienced Spanish and Portuguese software sales professional who will be responsible for leading and managing their sales for the Iberia region. The successful candidate will develop new prospects, identify needs, understand the customers business and sell the appropriate solutions. In addition you will be able to liaise and deal with CTO, IT Director, CFO, CEO, VP Engineering/Development level clients and present fluid and convincing webinars, demonstrations and be able to position their products and services accurately.
Skills: The ideal candidate will be a blend of seasoned and successful field sales and inside sales professional. You will need to be able to manage a territory, perform hands on sales and travel into the field to visit customers when business requirements permit or significant opportunities present themselves. The deal size varies from â20k-â500k and sales professionals should be able to demonstrate sales in this region. Spanish and Portuguese Sales professionals should have a minimum of 3-5 years software sales and be able to demonstrate inside sales, account management and field sales skills.
Gain: This will be the first hire for the Spanish and Portuguese market and it is anticipated that the successful candidate will grow into the manager role for the Iberian market.
