Critical Links is an appliance software company and provider of edgeBOX, a multi-function business gateway that consolidates data, voice and IT services for small and medium sized businesses.Engineer to work in Lisbon or Coimbra, Portugal.

Responsibilites:

Technical Support for edgeBOX and associated software. Also support for office infrastructure. There will be a requirement for 24hr emergency callout on a rota basis. It is anticipated that there will be a need for occasional foreign travel.

Qualifications & Experience:

Engineering academic degree and relevant professional experience.

Required Skills:

Strong technical understanding of Unix commands and Networks

Good understanding of the following: Apache, VoIP, SMTP, DNS, VPN, Security.

Good Troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Must have very good oral communication skills (English and Portuguese)

Strong ability to write technical documentation in English or Portuguese
