Portuguese Customer Sales & Service Agent
Our client is a global financial service provider, one of the largest in the world, with international presence in more than 50 countries across the world.
We are looking for Portuguese speakers to join their Multilingual team.
Job purpose:
Primary role will be to receive, deal with and answer all types of customer queries and request by phone including complex and contentious matters.
Main responsibilities:
- Contact and deal with customers in situations where customers have potential to affect commercial interests of the business (i.e. bad debt, credit limits etc. within remit of the department)
- Adopt cases and generate correspondence following initial customer contact with another area
- Provide excellent customer service
- Maintain existing and where necessary establish good working relationships with external contacts such as Solicitors, Police, Debt Collection Agencies etc. in order to ensure maximisation of the overall business relationship
Skills required:
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Good telephone manner
- General keyboard and multi system usage
- A good understanding of the objectives and functions of the Customer Service area
- An excellent knowledge of the procedures of Customer Service department
- A good working knowledge of the computer systems relating to Customer Service
- A general awareness of the products, services, activities and systems
