Context
The Marketing Assistant will join a team which includes one Marketing Executive, three Marketing Assistants, two Graphic Designers and a Department Manager. The Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Executive. The Marketing Team, alongside Sales Support and Client Relations falls within the responsibility of the Head of Marketing and Client Management. The Marketing Teamâs customers are internal staff and other departments, as well as external partner companies and corporate and individual clients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the creation/amendments or updates to our standard policy or promotional documents as well as tailored (client specific) documents.
Co-ordination of exhibition attendance and shipment of exhibition stands and promotional materials.
Product marketing research/competitive analysis.
Assist with production of newsletter editions, including researching and writing articles.
Liaise with suppliers e.g. the translation of text, printing of documents/posters.
Liaise with colleagues in other departments to get translated documents checked for accuracy.
Update, proof and coordinate translation of text for the AWC website/system generated letters, certificates, emails and Tables of Benefits.
Check that documents produced are correct (in terms of spelling/grammar etc), accurate, clear and that the companyâs standard legal disclaimers are included.
Assist in the creation and implementation of mail-shots to clients/potential clients.
Assist in the creation and issue of press releases, writing and placing articles in magazines, the internal communication of this news and maintaining press cuttings.
Coordinate advertising with magazines/websites including input to the creative content.
Experience Required
Degree in Marketing
Previous experience within a marketing role
Fluency in both English and Portuguese (Brazilian) is essential to this position
