Online Sales Account Manager (Portuguese) - EU Headquarters

The role: âOnline Sales Account Manager
As a Sales Account Manager in this fast moving environment, you are in charge of a portfolio of Key Accounts. Providing them with superior consultancy services and using your analytical skills and deep knowledge of the Internet, you help advertisers grow their business and maximize the return on their marketing investment. You work in partnership with the advertiser to understand their strategies and increase their understanding of Google advertising solutions. You are able to sell effectively by delivering value through high-quality strategic advice and creative advertising solutions. Ideally, you have an online marketing background and a thorough knowledge of the advertising business. Above all, you are focused, proactive, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the Online Media Associate Programme (OMAP). OMAP will, over 2.5 to 3 years, provide Googlers with the knowledge to develop their professional, leadership, and job-specific skills needed for their current role and future career across all areas of Google. In addition, OMAP participants will gain an overview of the online industry within which Google operates.
Responsibilities:
Manage trusted relationships with clients and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges.
Leverage on this strategic partnership to add value to our advertisers business and hence grow their accounts.
Constantly think of creative ways to improve our relationships with our clients and grow client revenue.
Persuade clients of the wider strategic opportunities in relation to AdWords.
Improve clients campaign performance and return on investment.
Requirements:
BA/BSc degree or equivalent with a strong academic background, preferably in business or marketing.
Self-starter, self-motivated, and capable of seeking additional selling opportunities.
Passionate about developing customer partnerships.
Significant and relevant experience of consultative sales and account management (media agency sales a plus but not essential.
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritise, plan, and organize the sales activity.
Passionate about the internet.
Fluency, written and spoken, in English and Portuguese.
