Transfer Agency - Investor Services Department (Spanish / POrtuguese) SSR level
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the funds which trade with a NYSE cut off. The role combines shareholder servicing with trade processing, trade reporting, cash settlement and foreign exchange preparation and placement.
Job Background/context:
This role is for the Investor Services Section within the Transfer Agency. The team plays a key role within the department and has daily interaction with the other teams within the Transfer Agency such as with the AML and Fund Accounting teams and externally with clients, shareholders and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Good order review of financial and non financial instructions received from shareholders and distributors
Preparation and placement of daily FX and investigation of FX reconciliation items.
Systematic processing of end of day trades on TA register
Support of the clients reporting requirements
Support of client trade lines and e-mail boxes and the ability to answer queries in a timely, accurate and professional manner
Investigation of reconciliation outages on the TA shareholder accounts
Dealing with queries received from internal teams in an efficient, competent and professional manner
Dealing with queries received from Fund Accounting and the Custodian in an efficient, competent and professional manner
Investigation and clearance of aged queries with shareholders and distributors
Understand and comply with the internal control environment and adhering to all departmental procedures
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of internal TA systems such as Power Image, Investar One, GTAS, IWA

Person Specification
Knowledge/Experience:
The candidate should ideally have a minimum of 3 years experience within Transfer Agency
Fluent Spanish / Portuguese is beneficial (not essential)
