Critical Software, a highly-specialized software engineering company with a strong presence in the international markets and high growth profile, is currently looking for an energetic, creative and flexible Marketing & Communications (Marcom) Intern. This person will assist the Marcom manager with developing and implementing Criticals marketing and communications plans. Job duties entail helping to oversee all marketing and communications initiatives including printed marketing materials, public relations, newsletters, annual reports, advertising, online marketing efforts, website, electronic blasts, and press releases. The ideal candidate should be willing to engage in a continuously challenging environment, within a young and highly motivated team. Responsibilities:
Assist with the creation and implementation of all external and internal marketing and communications strategies, content and materials for website, brochures, promotional materials, emails, presentations, direct mail, newsletters, annual reports and special events;
Follow-up with suppliers and all other third parties;
Provide day-to-day assistance in handling media relations including organizing media events,
Interviews, and the development and dissemination of information;
Assist in drafting and editing articles, press releases, newsletter, featured stories and other advertising and information materials for both web-based and traditional media. Manage the distribution processes;
Contribute to the planning, implementation, and analysis of brand initiatives and branding campaigns;
Assist in the coordination and organization of events/conferences;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
Preferentially, the intern will be conducting marketing/communication or equivalent studies;
Strong editing and proofreading skills;
Perfect oral and written English (native speaker will be valued);
Strong computer skills;
Ability to work on multiple projects or tasks concurrently;
Proactive, energetic and optimistic approach to challenges;
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
