Our client is an international organization operating in the Telecommunications sector:
Senior Analyst (m/f)
Lisbon
Mission:
The Risk and Business Assurance Function is responsible for risk management, audit and assessment, improving business processes, combined with a number of business projects.
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Performing audits, conducting where necessary initial meeting and issuing audit planning memorandums with risks, objectives, scope and approach;
- Understanding and documenting processes and controls, and developing risk and control matrices;
- Conducting interviews, performing walkthroughs and data analysis;
- Developing test scripts and performing/coordinating testing of controls;
- Assessing findings and proposing improvement actions plans;
- Writing audit reports, reflecting key risks and agreed audit recommendations;
- Establishing effective working relationships with management;
- Effectively deliverables assigned audits on time.
Skills:
- University degree in related field (economics, business, audit, accounting);
- Professional qualification in accounting and audit background;
- Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a large global organisation;
- Proven internal auditing skills: interviews and walkthroughs; process documentation and flowcharting, building, using risk and control matrices, development of tes scripts and execution of testing, report writing;
- S404 readiness experience is desirable;
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills;
- Attention to detail, whilst maintaining big picture perspective;
- Good Excel/ Word/ Visio/ PowerPoint skills;
- Fluent English language abilities verbal and written;
- European languages (mainly French, German, Spanish) are an advantage;
- Ability to travel in Europe.
