This position is based in their offices located in the vibrant city of Waterford in the sunny South East currently employing over 400 people.
The Bermuda Operations team has an opportunity available for a Bermuda Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing back office administrative and customer service support to our Bermuda Operations from the company office based in Waterford. The candidate will be required to have a strong level of Spanish and/or Portuguese, both written and oral.
Main Accountabilities
- Daily process of all transactions such as new account set up, maintenances, withdrawals and agent appointments.
- Processes ad hoc customer requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Meets established quality control measures
- Meets individual productivity requirements
- Makes outbound calls to clarify customer requests if necessary.
- Communicates with customers through outbound and inbound calls.
- Completes written customer correspondence when necessary.
- Provides follow up on requests that cannot be immediately resolved.
- Builds relationships with staff from other departments to ensure queries are responded to in a timely manner
- Escalates issues to management when needed
- Works with management to set daily priorities to ensure prompt and efficient service
- Identifies process improvements to increase efficiencies and streamline processes
- Actively participates in departmental team meetings and other open forums
- Assists with department projects and initiatives as needed
Education/Experience
- Diploma/BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of customer service / financial services experience
Skills/Knowledge
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, both oral and written
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to customer service and quality
- Strong research and follow-up skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to successfully cope in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
