QA ENGINEER - POKER EXP/INTEREST
We are seeking QA Engineers to help deliver a top quality playing experience for our customers. You must have a passion for QA and be a, detail-oriented person with experience in testing interactive software. Our platforms include Microsoft, Macintosh, and Web-based environments, running against client/server architecture. You should be able to maintain grace under pressure in a fast-paced, high-caliber product development environment.
Responsibilities:
You must be able to complete tasks on time while working with development engineers to understand features and to develop tests up to the last seconds of a deadline
You will need to develop test plans and work with development engineers to ensure all test plans provide complete product coverage
A keen ability to understand the localisation process, in order to devise insightful test scenarios is important
Experience with bug-tracking tools/databases is required as the successful applicant will produce detailed bug reports
Applicants must have a well-rounded background across QA practices and have the ability to understand large, complex systems
Experience:
MUST have knowledge of the game of poker
Avid players (particularly online players) a huge plus
3+ years localisation testing industry experience
BSc or BA preferred, or equivalent work experience
Fluency in one or more of the following non-English languages (German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese) a definite advantage
Experience writing and executing detailed Test Plans
Experience working on Mac applications a huge plus
Previous experience with testing of non-English language software and online gaming software is a big plus
Any other tools of the trade are a bonus, including scripting and test development skills
