Excellent South Dublin based Financial Services organisation is looking for a new BA to join their existing team.
Work Experience:
· The ideal candidate should have 3+ years' experience working as a business analyst preferably working in a financial service's environment.
· Knowledge of insurance from, personal lines, commercial lines, accident & health, or claims perspective would be an asset.
· Experience of business account management / project management techniques required.
· The candidate must have experience of full life cycle projects, preferably high complexity systems integration projects in a financial services client server environment.
· Candidate should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of principles of back office accounting systems.
· Exposure to and understanding of Client Server technical environment preferred. Basic working knowledge of VB, PowerBuilder and / or SQL would be a definite advantage.
Skills/Knowledge:
· Excellent English communications skill (both written and oral) is required.
· Strong analytical, decision making, organisation and communication skills are required.
· Knowledge of another European language(s) is a plus i.e. German, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese.
· Above average knowledge of MS Office required.
General:
· The candidate must demonstrate a positive attitude towards change.
· Candidate must demonstrate an aptitude for the evolving technical infrastructure and the ramifications / possibilities which this technology may present from a business perspective.
· Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and motivate / lead as and when necessary.
· Extensive European travel will be required on occasion particularly during the analysis phase of a country project.
