IT Support Analyst
Our Dublin client is currently seeking to recruit an IT Support Analyst to join their small existing team. You will be responsible for providing frontline support for all employees on IT systems, including employees in other offices around the world and road warriors with laptops and secure remote access. You must have the ability to react to problems in a timely manner and have the ability to deal with broad range of people on different levels. Some international travel will be required.
Typical duties include-
. Hardware set-up and support
. Software installation and maintenance
. Network connectivity and maintenance
. Quickly respond to questions and problems from all employees
. Troubleshoot issues as required
. Assist in system upgrades, conversions and other maintenance
. Frontline support telephone and voicemail systems; communicate phone lists and changes
. Manage file backup schema and process
. Conduct new employee/trader orientation as related to IT functions
. Support and maintain internal systems
Skills/experience:
. Well rounded knowledge of Information Technology, including but not limited to Windows 2003 Server and desktop Vista and XP, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office
. Excellent communication skills
. Customer service focus
. Calm, professional demeanor
. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role..
. A relevant IT degree is required.
. Candidates must speak 100% fluent English and be fully authorised to work in Ireland. An Additional language such as German, Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage.
Salary and benefits:
The salary for this role is in the region of €26k-32k, depending on the candidate.
