Fault and Configuration Management
Scope:
- Close inter-working with Alarm & Order Managment for basic troubleshooting
- Advanced trouble shooting
- Escalation to TAC2
- Configuration and change management (network reconfigurations and monitoring of provisioning activities)
- Analize changes, implementing changes and keep network data up to date
- Network performance, perform network quality reports
- Trouble statistics analysis and reporting
- Generation of comprehensive statistics of troubles, their analysis and any measures derived from the analysis for preventive maintenance activities
- Maintaining operated network configuration information and documentation
Skills:
- Degree in Electronic and Telecommunications or related field or equivalent work experience required.
- Technical knowledge of mobile networks, fixed networks or convergent networks (GSM, UMTS, BWA (Broadband Wireless Access), Switching, Access, Transport , IP, VoIP, DVB-H, etc.
- Knowledge of management platforms (Element Management/ Network Management/ Service Management).
- Skills of network monitoring tools and events tracking
- Fluency in English and German (mandatory)
- Fluency in Portuguese, Dutch, French, and Spanish (preferential)
- Availability to work in shifts and weekends, as well as in on-call duty
- Availability to travel abroad
